WHEN & WHERE IS THE BEACH SOCCER PROGRAM?
The
Beach Soccer Academy will be held on 4 consecutive Saturday mornings
(July 11, July 18, July 25, and August 1) July 11th & 25th sessions at Main Beach in Santa Cruz. The July 18th and August 1st sessions will be held at Seabright Beach.
4 - 6 Year Olds –– 9 - 10:30am
7 - 9 Year Olds –– 9 - 10:30am
10 - 13 Year Olds –– 10:30am - 12pm

WHAT THE PROGRAM IS ABOUT
The Beach Soccer Academy is a co-ed program designed to introduce children ages 4 to 13 to the exciting sport of Beach Soccer. The program is an academy / camp format with scrimmages / games following each instruction session. This is a fantastic format to teach children ball handling skills (it is much tougher on the sand) in an exciting and fund formt - plus we are on the beach!!
THE PHILOSOPHY
The Beach Soccer Academy is designed to provide a fun and unique supplemental soccer training program for the community. Beach Soccer helps develop technical soccer skills while providing unparalleled speed and quickness training. Each player will learn an array of skills from beach soccer basics to advanced moves including volleys and bicycle kicks. Skills will be taught through fun and fast-paced drills and beach soccer matches.
THE FORMAT
Participants will be separated into teams. During each session teams will receive instruction from world class coaches to develop technical skills. The sessions will conclude with teams competing in official 5v5 in Beach Soccer matches. The camp features a number of US National Beach Soccer players including former Earthquake and current National Team member, Yuri Morales.
WHO ARE THE COACHES
Beach Soccer Academy Director Yuri Morales is a member of the U.S. Beach Soccer National Team and has 10 years of coaching experience. He is an accomplished professional soccer player and holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. Morales and other Santa Cruz Beach Soccer Club coaches will provide instruction and Beach Soccer specific expertise. Check out some highlights. (Click Here)
